Austin Welborn is a Cybersecurity professional with over 12 years of experience in the field. He began his career in the Army as a Signal Core soldier where he was introduced to networking and telecommunications. After completing active duty, he joined an Army reserve cyber operations unit, and has recently been promoted to a Cyber Operations Warrant Officer. On the civilian side he has supported several DoD organizations and other federal entities doing everything from Helpdesk support to cybersecurity audits. He currently acts as a Splunk Consultant for various government agencies. He holds several Splunk certifications as well as several security related certifications such as SEC+, CASP, and CeH.
