Gabe Renfro

Gabe Renfro is an Advisory DFIR consultant where he provides incident response, forensics, purple teaming and other services to GuidePoint Security’s clients, and has a particular appetite for ransomware response and remediation. His background also includes analytics in a SOC role, penetration testing, and wearing various other hats within the security space.

Gabe joined the GuidePoint Security team in 2022 from Sophos’ Managed Threat Response (MTR), where he wore many hats as a senior threat analyst. Gabe also worked at an MSSP where he provided IR consultation as well as offensive advisory operational services.
